Caritas Madagascar works so that every person in Madagascar may live in fullness, with respect for their dignity, their rights and their spiritual calling.

Guided by the Gospel and the social teachings of the Catholic Church, Caritas Madagascar is committed to building communities where every member can actively contribute to the common good, where natural resources are managed responsibly and shared equitably.

Our vision is of a Madagascar free from corruption, human rights violations and the exploitation of the most vulnerable by the most powerful. We firmly believe in a society where the dignity of every woman, every man and every child is fully recognized and respected.

Drawing inspiration from the cultural and spiritual beliefs of the Malagasy people, we seek to combine Christian faith with local realities to build bridges between communities, promote solidarity and enable everyone to access a dignified and fulfilling life.
